With so many having access to video cameras plus the added ability to edit the finished product on a desktop computer, more and more amateurs are calling themselves producers, directors and editors. The reality is like anything some have talent and some...well let's just say karaoke is also accessible to all. Those of us who dedicate our lives to this art form are very passionate about what we do and it is because of our accomplishments that we have earned the titles we possess.
What we value? A true story from our producer...
“When my oldest son was in first grade I was working for a supply company. I told my supervisor two weeks in advance about a father-son breakfast I wanted to attend. I was assured it would be OK to arrive two hours late on that day. The day before the breakfast as I was leaving to go home, he told me he had changed his mind and I would have to skip the breakfast. I asked why? He stated; “Just in case I need you & if you do not show up, you will be fired.” I did attend the breakfast & I was fired. To this day that decision is one I am most proud of.”
